Choosing File Extension Between Lowercase Or Uppercase

Did you know what is different between Mypict.jpg and Mypict.JPG? if you are working with MS Windows environment, this two kind of file extension hae no different at all. the system read it as similiar file. but when you are uploading your file into a website and in time unfortunately the server is using Lynux system, the file will be read as a different file.in example, if you create a link like www.example.com/mypict.jpg but the following file you directed have extension mypict.JPG, the following link will not find the the picture hosted. the link will fail to load the picture. you hae to make a decision wih extension methode you will use.

In Adobe photoshop CS6, there is a way to set default file extension wether it in lowercase or uppercase, you can set it for your own default setting.

• Chose Edit>preference>file handling

• Inside the dropdown menu of File Extension, choose lower or upper.

• use lower case if you want the extension file always be writed as lowercase
• use uppercase if you want to make your default file extension in uppercase.
• then press OK

Optimizing photoshop based on the Document size

All this time, what purpose you use Adobe Photoshop? is it for Photo Editing? or design? what kind of design? is it design on dekstop basis with small to average size wih a hundred of layer? or maybe for edit a big size single picture wih only one or two layer?

• Chose one of three kind of optimization option

• Thall and thin option you can use it when you are working with smaal to average size of file but have many layer.
• Default option you can use when you are working with different of working environment.
• Big and flat option you can use when you are often work with big size of file buth have less of layer.
• press OK for working evironment you chose.
