Digital Photography Accessories: KIT Lens

Kit is a factory defaults lens that you get when you buy a Digital SLR camera body or  Digital mirrorless Camera body. KIT lens also referred to as normal lens or standard Focal length. the focal length in KIT lens is equal to image diagonal dimension projected into the camera censor. one of the advantage of this type of lenses is this lens resulting images with the most natural perspective when compared with another type of lens. This KIT lens  will produce image which does not differ much from what is the eyes of photographer seeing. these kind of perspective mapping gained from distance between focal length equal to the focal area to the 53 degrees of diagonal viewpoint.
Some of the advantages and disadvantages possessed by a lens KIT is:

Advantages
Simple and light
Plastic material and small design make this KIT Lens simple and light to carry.
Lowest Prices
For a Digital SLR camera, KIT lenses is the most lowest price lenses. but even it so, it doesn't mean become twopenny lenses.  KIT lenses is the most produced lens,  caused this lens is commonly bundled with Digital SLR bodies. that is means, more production number equal to  less expensive production costs, didn't?
Blurring (Bokeh)
Even this lens had limited aperture, it has better blurring (bokeh)
Good for low key capture
Normally KIT lens had small aperture limits (f/32), its means you can make good Low key Photography.
Flexible focal length
In range of 18-55mm focal length makes this lens are flexible to adjust the vocal length.
Sharp image
when you take landscape, or even portrait. this lens have a good focus. when you are set the aperture to 5.6, usually you can have maximum images sharpness.

Disadvantages
Limited focal length
yes, commonly the focal length of this KIT lens is 18-55mm. i give an examples. someone standing in outside boarder of lion cage in the zoo, distance between outside boarder into the cage is 10 meters. then you are using KIT lens with focal length 18-55mm. it would be difficult to take closeup images, even in maximum focal length and the lion stay in the nearest fence of cage.
Less robust material structure
This kind of lens is commonly designed small and simple. unfortunately they are not accompanied by the provision of better materials. at this point, lot of lenses is only made with plastics and rubber that can be easily stretched.
Noisy auto-focus system
Not all KIT lens had a noisy auto focus system, but in common. yes they are bundled with noisy auto-focus system.
Limited macro photography capturing
KIT lens can be used to take a macro capture, but you have to remember, KIT Lens are not design for macro capture.
Limited Aperture
normally, the aperture of KIT lens  is maximum 3.5 in 18mm focal length and 5.6 in 55mm focal length.

Accessories are an important part of photography which is have more than thousand of varieties, and I am sure it will be drain our pockets if we are try to own it our self. Among many variations of accessories, some of them included as the main accessories. That is, these accessories are things that must also be owned by a photographer, Especially for a professional photographer.
Lenses, yes, this is categories to accessories the world of digital SLR cameras. in the realm of pocket camera lens is a part that can not be separated (one package), but in digital SLR camera, lenses is part of accessories. there is many kind of lenses including kit lens, wide angle lens, macro lens, zoom lens, and other. lets take a time to examine thee lenses.

what is lens?
Lens is a part of camera that can not be separate with the cameras body, a digital SLR camera can be used when the lens are attached in thee mounting of the body of the camera. the lens is a vital devices used by the camera to focusing incoming light into image sensors. inside the lens, there are several single lens placed separately which is can be set so the camera censor can record some images with a different size and different  focus.
Common definition of lens is a devices used to organize, process, focusing and deliver the light from an object into the camera to became an image.
there are three different ring are placed as a regulator. first ring is focal length places in front of lens who had different variant between lens. Second is diaphragm ring that control image capture of the lenses. the third is focusing ring, its function is to regulate the sharpness distances of focus on the lens, or better known as the depth of field. The conclusion is, Focal length function serves as a spacer magnification object, diaphragm is like the pupil of the eye to arrange incoming light trough the camera, and depth of field to conclusion the lens sharpness distance on the image.
Lens is the most important part which has the most influence on the outcome of an image. the quality of lens has the most influence on the quality of image.

In Digital Camera world, rather you buy an expensive camera, its better to invest your money in camera lenses. Why in lenses? because most of excellence images is determined by the quality of their lens used. Lenses have major impact to the quality of the images resulted.
some of professional photographer recommend to use entry-level Digital SLR camera with high-end quality lenses rather than high-end quality digital SLR but using cheapo lenses.

Shutter Speed
Shutter speed is features to set how much light of an object entering the camera. shutter speed counted on a measure of millisecond, 1/25 means that shutter speed will be opened in 1/25 second. more higher shutter speed means more short time shutter open, commonly used in a high light intensity or high speed  object capturing. you can consider your need to shutter speed requirement for your photography activity.

Image stabilizer
Image stabilizer also called image stabilization. this feature for now is offered also for entry level of Digital SLR Camera. this feature are required for camera that handled by hand or in unstable ground. but for some of professional photographer, its not recommended to buy Digital SLR camera with full auto image stabilizer. it's just marketing strategy of manufacturing.
